The objective of the osteopathic treatment is the harmonization of the physiological, psychological and energetic state of the horse. Due to this restoration of the inner balance, the mobility as well as other physical functions are improved or harmonized. At the same time pain will be reduced. This will increase the horse’s vitality and enjoyment for movement. It benefits the entire well-being of the horse. Naturally, the treatment is customized to the specific symptoms and needs of the horse. Below you will find a small list of my services for your horse.
Back pain can be regarded as an occupational disease of the ridden horse.
The broad spectrum of services of the energetic osteopathy can be traced to its inherent character of combining diverse styles of treatment. This allows on the one hand for an individual approach in each treatment and on the other hand for a holistic therapy with long-lasting results. The advantage for you as the owner is that you won’t need me as often as therapists that work for example solely with osteopathic techniques or with pure energetic methods.
Classical Osteopathy
Osteopathy deals with position and movement, as well as all important functional circuits of the body. This includes for example the respiratory system, blood circulation, lymph flow, and the metabolism. The focus is specifically on the close relationships of these circuits. Parietal Osteopathy
Deals with the locomotor system, including bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles. You would like to read more.
Fascial Osteopathy
Focuses on the connective tissue and fibrous connective tissue. You would like to read more.
Craniosacral Osteopathy
Focuses on the bones of the head (cranial bones) and its structures, the brain, the spine (including spinal cord and fluid) and the sacrum are specifically treated with this type of osteopathy. You would like to read more.
Visceral Osteopathy

Lymphatic massage
This massage is not part of the classical osteopathy. However, it is a great tool in order to stimulate the drainage of accumulated lymph.
Direct and indirect muscle technisques
Tensed muscles can restrict joints in their mobility. If the joint’s mobility is attempted to be restored by merely manipulating the bony structures of the joints (without paying attention to the surrounding tissues), the correction won’t last long. Every joint, every vertebra can only be as mobile as the structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments and facias) that surround it. Therefore, it is advisable to always treat the involved musculature parallel to the mere osteopathic treatment.
Energetic therapies
According to the traditional chinese medicine (TCM) every organism consists of energy. A sickness or a functional limitation of the body is regarded as a disturbance in the energetic flow. By means of energetic techniques these disturbances are resolved and the energetic flow hamronized. You would like to read more.
Acupuncture massage according to Penzel (APM)
APM ensures a free flow of energy between and within the meridians. The energetic pathways of the body (meridians) are freed or debugged by means of the fingers or sticks. You would like read more.
Meridian massage
In case of a disturbance in the energy flow of the meridians, the individual can become sick or has to deal with muscle tenseness or other tensions. The energy flow will be harmonized by the help of specific treatments, such as the meridian massage. You would like to read more.
Acupressure
In acupressure, acupunctural points are not needled like commonly done, but instead held with the fingers (with light pressure) or massaged. This harmonizes the energy flow within the body.
Scar tissue treatment
Very often scars disturb the energy flow tremendously. The scar tissue must be balanced in order to get rid of the disturbance it causes. This can be done with the help of colored light, magnets or other energetic techniques, such as myofascial release. You would like to read more.
Applied kinesiology
In my work as an energetic horse osteopath, I use the diagnostic tool of the kinesiological muscle test and thereby the biofeedback of the body in order to arrive at an exact diagnosis. Color light therapy
This type of therapy can be perfectly used as an addition for the energetic osteopathy. It is specifically well applicable for acupuncture. The acupunctural points will not be needled but instead stimulated with light. Color light therapy is explicitly helpful for clearing up energetic disturbances, scar tissue problems or physical problems. You would like to read more.
Touch for health
With the help of touch for health blockages in the energetic system can be located and subsequently solved with specific techniques so that the energetic balance is restored.
Additional treatments
It is my goal to treat your horse holistically and with long-lasting effects. For this reason, I am working with the combination of energetic treatments and classical osteopathy. But sometimes this is not enough – especially if the problems have simply become too big (or goe into a certain direction). In order to meet the needs of all my patients, I am offering further treatments in the field of feed testing and animal communication.
Feed testing and consultation
Many physical problems are related to the metabolism. The causes for these problems can very often be found in digestive and/or metabolic problems and are not so much due to tensed up muscles or blocked joints like usually assumed. These metabolic problems are usually caused by the feed of the horse.
Metabolic problems often lead to severe illnesses. Is the derailing of the metabolism detected in an early stage and the horse’s diet is adjusted accordingly, most sicknesses can be treated well or could even be prevented. By means of applied kinesiology, feed can be tested for its tolerability. For many horses, a change in diet has brought the breakthrough. Therefore, I am also offering feed testing and consultation.
